Cotswold BMW, Cheltenham

Location: Golden Valley Bypass, Cheltenham

Project Manager: Matt Pugh and Steve Shiels

Duration: 12 months

Project Overview

Construction of a new central Headquarters for BMW and Mini Dealership to serve both Cheltenham and Gloucester. The Dealership is located at the Cheltenham end of the Golden Valley Bypass adjacent to the Park-and-Ride site, in a green field location.

Scope of Work

Works commenced in January  with a 26000m3 on site muck shift. This enabled foundations to commence in early March, ready to receive the steel frame in late April.

Despite recent weather conditions, Jim Swift and Matt Pugh have kept to the programme and secured a good position for the project delivery in December .

Mark Virgo and his team took over work from the earthworks team from 2nd March  and carried out the works leading up to completion. This involved foundations, drainage, reinforcement of retaining walls, together with the complete external works package. View our time-lapse video
